Dr. Joy's Hospital, Vytilla. Carpet Area: 1600 square feet
Interior design for an established hospital to augment their infrastructure with the inclusion of maternity suites for higher end clients. Warm tones and textures are used to incite a sense of calm and merriment. The added dashes of teal blue, which represents serenity and rejuvenation, helps in alleviating the feeling of starkness and sterility generally associated with hospitals. The curved walls and Mahogany ceilings further adds to the fluidity of form making way for dynamic perspectives. Lighting needs are met by LED luminaries and together with DC Inverter air conditioning units helps in lowering energy consumption.
Panampilly Nagar, Cochin. Carpet area: 3200 square feet.
Interior design for a software development company that provides solutions in retail, healthcare, agriculture etc. The theme for the design was to accentuate the branding of the company enhanced by their fuchsia accents which are used to provide a dash of colour in the interiors. The main coding floors have very functional design elements such as exposed to ceiling cable trays which double up as the desk lamps with concealed LED luminaires. The cable tray ‘spine’ which are linked to their server rooms act as a data and power corridor that branches out to the work stations allowing for ease of technical access and a semi flexible open floor plan.
